First of all, it’s MoHONK, not Mohawk. My husband was a rock climber, and he was amazed the first time he saw Mohonk Mountain House. We started stying there almost every year since 1992, when the lakeside Victorian rooms cost $250 per night. Now the same rooms go for around $1000 per night, but they do have special sales for 40% off. Still pricey, but worth it IMO. There’s no place like Mohonk, and a couple of nights there will refresh your body and spirit. Do yourself a favor and find out for yourself!

My Company put me in this place. They actually tried to shake me down by having the manager accuse me of attempting to invite a house keeper into my room……..while I wasn’t even there. I think this crew must be from Angeles City (for those who know the region I’m talking about).

I was born there. Both sets of my grandparents worked for US Sugar, and a slew of other relatives worked there. I have not lived there for over 36 years, I left at 14. I always come back to visit relatives, to sell life insurance, or just to get my mind right. I always wanted to spend the night there.

I live not too far from this hotel! When I was little we'd always pass it on my way home from my grandparents house and I'd wanna go in and ride the elevators. It is an amazing hotel! My cousin is staying at this hotel rn over Christmas!

It's not haunted we've been there for 1 month now, under new management since a few months ago very pleasant people and staff 😀..and this 1938 Vintage hotel is awesome i call it the White house 🏠...this is our place now when coming from Miami Florida, so relaxing and view is remarkable and exciting lot's of little places to walk around and just knowing the community and stands for what it says...Friendly, ..we have been to Kissimmee, Orlando, San Augustin many places but we landed here 🙌 and enjoy every minute of it, So just take a drive on Hwy 27 north...and enjoy the site's.... The management gave us a special birthday welcomed to my husband 💕 that he wasn't even aware and the management and staff didn't have to go to that extreme but they did..very special and memorable 💖

Just returned from a unbelievable stay at the Broadmoor. WOW , so much to do and see, or just sit and relax.

I am actually considering booking this for a get away. I need some quiet R&R. No one has room service any more, though. That’s too bad, but breakfast 🥞 looks good!
